PDP Guber Candidate Urges Christians to Reflect on Importance of Easter

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Anambra State, Sir Jude Ezenwafor, has called on Christians to contemplate the importance of the Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. He has also emphasized the necessity for a comprehensive approach to combating moral decay in Christian values and beliefs.

In his Easter message conveyed to the people of Anambra through his media aide, Hon. Nwafor Nwali, Sir Ezenwafor stressed the need for a more proactive and resolute stance in restoring fading morals, particularly among the youth during the Easter period. He emphasized the collective effort required to uphold Christian values and guide children towards a path of righteousness.

Furthermore, Chief Jude Ezenwafor urged Christian leaders to continue praying for the security of the people of Anambra, both within the state and in the diaspora. He emphasized the hope, salvation, and redemption brought about by the death of Lord Jesus Christ, encouraging the people to be optimistic in the face of present challenges.

Acknowledging the divine gift of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for humanity, Chief Ezenwafor emphasized the need for gratitude towards God. He has demonstrated consistent support for the Christian community throughout the Lenten season and appealed for perseverance in faith amidst life’s trials.

Additionally, Chief Jude Ezenwafor encouraged Anambra residents to extend their charitable acts to the less fortunate, especially during the Easter festivities, to foster a sense of inclusivity and compassion. He reassured the people that their mandate is safe under his leadership and expressed gratitude for their ongoing support towards his gubernatorial aspirations.
