Miss Chioma Ifemeludike has emerged as the Candidate of African Action Congress , AAC, for the November 8 2025 governship election in Anambra state.
She was formally norminated by members of the congress as provided by Schedule 3 article 2 of the AAC.
Miss Ifemeludike who hails from Eziowele, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra state. was unanimously elected through affirmation vote by members of the Congress.
The Chairman, Election Committee , Mr Oshiokhe Ikpeminoghena, AAC, said it was the constitutional responsibility of the party to field a candidate for the election and that the candidate fulfilled every necessary step that qualifies her to run for the Anambra governorship election.
The National Chairman of AAC, Comrade Omoyele Sowore was represented on the occasion by the National Treasurer of the Party, Doctor Sam Ajeigbe during the exercise held in Awka the Anambra state capital.
In her acceptance speech , the Candidate of AAC , Miss Chioma Ifemeludike promised not to disappoint the trust bestowed on her by the numerous party supporters.
She noted that the party will make sure that people of Anambra state especially women, Children and Youths are empowered to become better citizens of the nation.
Miss Ifemeludike said she accepted the nomination to serve the people because of her passion for Good governance.
The AAC Candidate who spoke with an assurance of winning the November 8 governorship election, said the Holy Spirit of God will remove anyone that stands on the way to stop the party from realizing its dreams of Governing Anambra State.
Miss Chioma Ifemeludike until her emergence as a candidate was the Chairman of AAC in Anambra state.
Officials of INEC were on ground to witness the peaceful exercise held in Awka the Anambra state.
