Anambra State Local Government Works Vanguard in partnership with the Anambra State Tricycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria Awka Zone (TOWAN) have unanimously mandated Governor Chukwuma Soludo to contest the November 8 gubernatorial election in the state.
State Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Awka, Barr Vincent Ezeaka stated this at Solution Bus Terminal Aroma Junction Awka, Regina Ceali Keke park, Okpuno axis and Kwata Keke park also in Awka, amidst the keke riders and the bus drivers while unveiling the Local Government Workers Solution Vanguard Stickers.
He said the essence of the stickers was to carry the messages of Governor Soludo and the wonders he is doing in the state to the grassroots.
He said that workers in the 21 local government areas under the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission Awka have met and collectively resolved that the Governor Chukwuma Soludo should go for the second tenure.
“And in so doing, they have produced these stickers to be placed on every keke and buses in Anambra State for further propagation of the good news ,so that those who have not heard the good news through social or conventional media will be able to read them through the mobile advert”,he said.
Describing the Governor as a God sent, Ezeaka,spoke on the intentions of the two bodies to partner the keke riders and the bus drivers in Anambra State since they have accepted to place the stickers on every keke and buses in the state, so that whoever enters their keke or bus will read that Soludo is going for second tenure.
Also, Chairman, Anambra State Keke Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria Awka Zone (Towan),Prince Collins Ozojiofo said that they are excited to hear that their able working and capable Governor is going for second tenure.
He said that they are mandating him to run for the second tenure because they cannot afford to loose a wonderful Governor like him in Anambra State.
“If you look at it, you will know that we the keke riders are the the most beneficiary in this government”.
He maintained that Governor Soludo has turned Anambra State into a construction sites, citing the roads in Awka town the capital city of the state as an example.
“Before now, we use to go to mechanics all the times to repair our crankshafts and others, but now we don’t go to mechanics anymore because of the beautiful roads built by Governor Soludo in Awka”,he stated.
“So,we are telling his excellency, Governor Chukwuma Soludo that if he had not declared interest to contest the November eight gubernatorial election that he should do so now,” Ozojiofo declared.
He noted that they are making it mandatory that Governor Soludo should declare interest for the election and affirmed that they are giving him their hundred percent support, assuring the people that their votes are for the Governor come November eight.
The Chairman, who spoke among other things, stated without an iota of doubt that keke owners and riders in the state were ever ready to partner with the Local Workers Solution Vanguard and the bus drivers in the state to ensure that Governor Soludo is returned to office at the polls.
The event featured placing of the stickers with the inscription”, Solution Is Here, Solution for Second Tenure,”on the keke and buses at the parks visited by Barrister Ezeaka, Prince Ozojiofo and the Manager,Transport Company of Anambra State, Mr.Nnajide Tochukwu.
