“This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action: For a Gender-Equal World,” reminds us that true equality requires bold and collective action.
“A gender equal world is not just an aspiration, it is a necessity. It calls for dismantling systemic barriers, challenging biases and ensuring that women and girls have equal opportunities in education, leadership healthcare, governance….
“As we celebrate this day, I urge us all to commit to advancing economic empowerment for women, increasing women’s representation in leadership and decision making, ensuring access to quality education and healthcare, eliminating gender based violence and discrimination.
“Every woman deserves to live in a world where her voice is heard, her dreams are nurtured and her potential is limitless.
“Moreso, we celebrate the victories, progress and journey ahead. But beyond celebration, let’s keep pushing forward, taking action and driving change for a more inclusive and equitable world.
