Rotary Club's Special Vocational Fellowship in Onitsha

Rotary Club of Onitsha Metropolis has emphasized the importance of vocational service in building sustainable communities.
President, Rtn. Oby Arinze stated this at a Special Vocational Fellowship in Onitsha, Anambra state which brought together Rotarians, professionals and community leaders for improved learning, service and professional growth.
She encouraged Rotarians to continue leading with integrity, fostering ethical workplace practices and contributing positively to society.
The event also featured Special Vocational Service Project Training themed: Leadership, Teamwork, and Workplace Ethics for Professional Growth: Enhancing Rotarian Effectiveness.
The session, facilitated by Rtn. Ezuma Smart Chinedu, provided valuable insights on ethical leadership and professional excellence, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to personal and professional development.
The gathering also featured an inspiring session on Leadership, Teamwork & Ethics, where seasoned professionals shared insights on fostering integrity and collaboration in both Rotary and the workplace.

Highlight of the event was recognition of Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, a proud member of the Rotary Club of Onitsha Metropolis, with the Outstanding Legislative Service Award for his dedication and contributions to governance and legislative excellence.
His presence underscored the importance of ethical leadership and service, aligning with Rotary’s values.

The event also celebrated Valentine’s Day with a light entertainment and gift fostering camaraderie and appreciation among members. The dress code, “Touch of Elegance” in white or red, added vibrancy to the event, symbolizing unity, service, and professional excellence.
