NAUTH Boss Hails Tinubu for Establishing Regional Radio Diagnostic Center at Nnewi

The Chief Medical Director, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, NAUTH, Prof Joe Ugboaja has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for establishing a Regional Radio Diagnostic Center at NAUTH, Nnewi-Anambra State.

He stressed that the multi billion naira facility would reverse medical tourism in the South East region.

Prof. Ugboaja made the remark during a grand reception for the new NAUTH board chairman, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori held at the permanent site of the hospital on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

According to Ugboaja, the establishment of the multi billion naira regional Radio – Diagnostic Center “remains a testament to Mr. President’s love for Ndi Igbo and the people of the South East”.

“I want to specially appreciate the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Hon. Coordinating Minister of Health & Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammadu Ali Pate for their support to us”.

He also disclosed that by the time the 2000- bed capacity facility being built in the permanent site was completed among other numerous projects already completed and ongoing, NAUTH would become the biggest and best in Nigeria.

Earlier in his address, the new NAUTH Board Chairman, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori assured the management, staff and students of the institution that his priority as he takes up the new appointment from Mr President was to seek and ensure their Welfare, Wellbeing and Motivation.
