Molokwu, Peter Obi’s Ex-Security Aide Loses Wife

The death has been announced of Mrs. Benedicta Bamidele Molokwu, wife of retired Col. Akunnia Ikem Molokwu, a former Special Adviser on Security to Governor Peter Obi in Anambra State.
Mrs. Molokwu, a Deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Onitsha, passed on in the early hours of 13 December 2024, aged 70.

Benedict Molokwu is survived by her husband
Col. (retd.) Molokwu; daughter, Ogechukwukamma Blessing Chimama’da Molokwu; two step daughters, two step sons and step grandchildren; a sister, Pastor Mrs. Bose Musa; a brother, Mr. James Akota Ordia Ehinomen; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and cousins.
Lying in state and funeral service will take place on Friday, 31 January 2025, from 06.30am at her home, 15 Ogbuli Nwawulu Street, Inland Town, Onitsha, Anambra State
Interment will follow by 12 noon at Ehanle Ewu, Edo State, according to the statement that Arc. Chinedu Molokwu signed on behalf of the family.
