ACTDA MD Tasks Newly Wed PA, Spouse to Plan, Work, Explore Life Togethe as Team

Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr. Ossy Onuko, has charged his newlywed Personal Assistant and his spouse to plan their lives together, work as a team and enjoy every moment of their marriage.

Onuko made the charge during traditional marriage of Mr. Chiedozie Emmanuel Atuanya and Miss Eberechukwu Priscilla Amaizu at Urudunu Ifite, Oraifite, Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State.

Quoting a Biblical verse: “He who finds a wife finds a good thing”, the ACTDA Boss expressed profound joy for witnessing the union of his Personal Assistant . “Today, we celebrate not just an assistant but a dear friend. We give thanks and glory to God,” he said.

Sharing insights on marriage, Mr. Onuko, who has been married for five years, described it as a symbiotic relationship requiring mutual effort and growth. He advised the newlywed couple to plan their life together, work as a team and make the most of the opportunities in the world, which he described as a level playing ground for all.

In her remarks, the bride’s mother, Mrs. Ngozi Amaizu, fondly known as Stainless, expressed her joy at her daughter’s marriage. She described the day as one of happiness and advised the couple to live peacefully and avoid conflicts.

Also, the Head of ACTDA Account Unit, Mrs. Ebere Ugogbe who felicitated with the couple highlighted the importance of traditional marriage in Igbo land, stating that it signifies the fulfillment of marriage rites. She prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the couple and their union.

The celebration was a beautiful display of culture, unity and love, marking a significant milestone for the Atuanya and Amaizu families.
