Soludo Signs N607bn 2025 Anambra Appropriation Bill into Law

Anambra Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has signed the N607 billion 2025 Appropriation Bill into law.

The budget document titled: “Changing Gears 2.0”, prioritizes infrastructure, economic transformation, human capital development, and social welfare.

According to Governor Soludo, the ambitious appropriation marks a significant milestone in his administration’s efforts to transform Anambra State into a modern, prosperous, and livable homeland.

The budget is divided into 77 percent for capital expenditure and 23 percent for recurrent expenditure.

Governor Soludo also expressed his confidence that the budget would drive sustainable growth and development in Anambra State.

He also thanked the Anambra State House of Assembly for their diligent work in passing the appropriation bill.

The budget is focused on five key pillars of development, including enhancing security and maintaining law and order in the state; investing in education, healthcare, and social welfare programs; Protecting and preserving the state’s natural environment; Promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance and developing infrastructure and promoting economic growth and development.

With the signing of the budget, Governor Soludo has demonstrated his commitment to transforming Anambra State and improving the lives of its citizens.
