Again, Soludo Pledges Affordable Housing, Mega-City Development in Anambra

Anambra Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has reiterated his commitment to provide affordable housing as well as transforming the state into a livable and prosperous mega-city.

Governor Soludo, represented by the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, made the pledge while speaking at a real estate summit organized by Reapfold Properties Limited in Awka,

He outlined the administration’s agenda to provide affordable housing and drive sustainable development across Anambra State.

Dr. Mefor identified some of the Soludo administration’s transformational initiatives to include free primary and secondary education to break the cycle of generational poverty, digital empowerment of youths and ongoing infrastructural projects that has turned the state into a “construction site.”

He further noted that 25,000 Anambra youths have already been trained in digital skills with a target of empowering one million. He also urged residents to provide constructive feedback on the government’s policies, assuring them of government openness to improvement.

In her welcome remarks, the Marketing Manager of Reapfold Properties Limited Miss Chiamaka Udugbo, expressed excitement over the company’s achievements and the summit’s objectives.

Udugbo noted that since its inception in October 2023 under the leadership of Mr. Nonso Smart Okafor, Reapfold Properties has completed nine major real estate projects, opened offices in Awka, Asaba, Enugu, and Abuja and built a sales network of over 1,000 realtors.

She praised her team dedication and expressed optimism for the future of real estate development in Anambra.

The event which was themed “Building Sustainable Wealth Through Real Estate,” brought together industry leaders, professionals and investors to exchange ideas and celebrate milestones featured awards, recognizing outstanding realtors and staff for their contributions to the company growth.
