Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Awka North Local government under Edozie Njoku faction, Chief Charles Okadigbo, says the people will witness tremendous change in the various communities when he is sworn in to office.
In an interview after ANSIEC declared APGA victorious in the last Saturday’s poll, Chief Okadigbo thanked the people for believing and voting for him to pilot the affairs of the local government area.
He also commended the peaceful conduct of the exercise which witnessed good turnout of electorate in the area
According to him, the ten communities that make up Awka North will no doubt receive more attention in terms of micro development and human capital rejuvenation.
Chief Okadigbo thanked the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Edozie Njoku for his upright and steadfast nature of leadership which will in no distant time give the party more spread.
Chief Okadigbo said when they are sworn in officially, it will reduce the pressure and demands on governor Chukwuma Soludo as he will now focus on delivering bigger development and strides to the people.
The Community leader and Philanthropist, regretted the hardship being faced by Nigerians at the moment and called on the administration of President Bola Tinubu to review his economic policies in the interest of the masses.
Chief Okadigbo who was former Special Adviser to ex governor Willie Obiano on Agriculture, said he will pay more attention towards empowering rural farmers as such move will encourage them and guarantee food security.
He therefore called on all Stakeholders in Awka North Local government area to join hands with him, to move the council to a greater height .
