Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Mr. Nnaghe Obono Itam has order investigation into the murder of three persons at Isionye land, a boundary between Enugu ukwu and Nwafia.
The attack which took place around 2PM on Monday, 9th September, 202 also left five people injured.
According to the Anambra State Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Preliminary information revealed that the victims were lured by some individuals through a phone call to the land in guise of a land transaction and then attacked them with guns and matchets.
Meanwhile, the CP Itam has sued for calm as Police operatives have recovered the abandoned Sennia vehicle used by the murders.
Ikenga also disclosed that the testimonies of the injured victims who are currently receiving treatment in the hospital is aiding the investigation while the bodies of the deceased have been deposited in the morgue.
