Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Anambra State, Mrs. Blessing Ekene Iruma, has called for teamwork as the staff of the secretariat prepare for the 2024 Batch B stream 11 orientation course scheduled to start on Wednesday, 28th August, 2024.
Iruma who made the call during a pre- orientation meeting at the State Secretariat, Awka said that the central objective of the course was success.
He stressed that it was expedient to work collectively to achieve the set goal.
She pointed out that each commíttee is important and it is the unique contribution of the different commíttees that culminate in making the orientation thick.
She called for each head of the commíttees to galvanize the group to tackle the tasks ahead so that at the end of the day the success would be celebrated.
The NYSC boss hinted that the success story starts with the manner the Prospective Corps Members were received as they arrive the orientation camp revealing that she has made elaborate plans to receive the youths warmly.
She added that the air of the warm reception is expected to spread to all commíttees for the Prospective Corps to feel at home and face the course in a relaxed mood.
The Coordinator pointed out that discpline is the fulcrum of the orientation and ought to be enforced to achieve the desired objective. Therefore, she said that all the camp rules and regulations must be applied.
Mrs Iruma reminded the staff that residency in camp is compulsory and any movement out of the camp must be authorised.
