Orji, Others Confirm As Caretaker Committee Chairmen, Councillors

The Anambra State House of Assembly Thursday, 20th June, confirmed the former Transition Committee, TC Chairman of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Hon.Emeka Orji and other council Chairmen and Councillors of the 21 Local Government Areas in the state.

Orji whom his name was among the three nominees by the All Progressive Gland Alliance, APGA Stakeholders, Leaders and members, was sent to the Governor for confirmation as he directed in line with section 208 of the Local government law, 1999 as amended.

The Speaker, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze while congratulating them, charged them to remain focus and avoid pitfalls as a lot of Anambrarians place high hope on them.

He implored them to live up to expectations and work cordially with their members and community stakeholders, and to work in line with the vision and mission of Governor Charles w Soludo.

He further charged them to go and work for Ndi Anambra and assured them that if they don’t live up to expectations, the Assembly through oversight functions will do the needful.

The Onitsha South TC Chairman, Hon.Emeka Orji will resume work today for continuation of his good works in the area.

Newly appointed Chairmen are Hon.Ifeanyi Chinweze Anambra East, Hon.Fidelis Nnazo Ananmbra West, Hon.Romanus Ibekwe, Anaocha, Hon. Chinedu Okafor Awka South, Hon Alphonsus Ofumele Ayamelum, Hon.Chijioke Ozumba Dunukofia,

Others are Hon Stanley Nkwoka Idemili North, Him Chinedu Ononiba Njikoka, Hon Val Ezeogidi Nnewi South, Hon.Franklin Nwadialu Ogbaru, Him.Anthony Nwora Onitsha North, Casmir Nwafor Orumba North, Shedrack Azubike Awka South.

While the other re-appointed Chairmen are Hon.Chibuike Ofobuike Aguata, Hon Emma Nweke Oyi, Hon.Chimezie Obi Ekwusigo, Hon. Chris Obiora Nnewi North.

Others are Hon.Ancayo Orjiakor Ihiala.Hon.Amaka Obi Idemili South and Hon.Thankgod Aniagor Awka North.
