Igweship Aspirant Pledges to “Dedicate My Life for the Betterment of My Community’

Chief Samuel Odinammadu, one of the candidates vying for the traditional rulershio, EzeOkpoko II of Oba has pledged to dedicate his life for the betterment of his community.

Speaking during a crucial general meeting held by Okuzu Improvement Union (OIU) at Okuzu hall Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, Chief Odinammadu said that although he went through the first Igweship selection/election process which was inconclusive and declared cancelled without satisfactory explanations, he was still willing to serve his community as traditional ruler if given the opportunity.

Odinamadu, who is the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of SKC Properties Ltd, SKC Oil and Gas services said he was was willing and capable of working with Oba people to overcome challenges facing the community from lack of adequate infrastructure, youth unemployment, healthcare deficiency, to educational shortcomings.

Ikeora Idemili as he is fondly called said:

“I am aware of the challenges that face us as a people but I believe that together we can overcome these obstacles and build a stronger and more prosperous Oba Community.

He stressed that he was not seeking the throne out of desire for power or personal glory but to lead Oba community towards a brighter future.

“I have lived among you, worked with you and listened to your voices. I understand your hopes and fears and I committed to serving you with intergity, honesty and compassion if given the opportunity to become your traditional ruler.

He pledged to prioritize the needs of our community above all else.
“I will work tirelessly to improve the infrastructure, create job opportunity for our youths and ensure that every member of our community has access to quality healthcare and education”, he said, while adding that he would be a listening monarch.

“I will be accessible, a king committed to listening and addressing your concerns to the best of my ability.

A youth leader from Okuzu Mbana village, Mr. Okwudili Ejiofor described Odinammadu as a philanthropist who had touched lives of many through his acts of Charity.
