A foremost Board of Trustees (BoT) member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) has thrown his weight behind the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo who recently celebrated his two years in office.

Ezeonwuka, in a statement said he knew the overwhelming capacity of the governor even before his election.

He added that he was delighted that the governor lived up to his name by bringing unending solutions to the numerous challenges facing the people and the state.

Chief Ezeonwuka urged Ndi-Anambra to give maximum support to Soludo-led administration, arguing that no opposition could replicate the ‘SOLUTION’ the governor is bringing to Anambra State.

He said, “I am commending His Excellency, Prof Charles Soludo, the executive governor of Anambra State for all his doings to ensure that Ndi Anambra get the best of governance.

“I have said it earlier that the silent transformation coming to our state, by the time it is unfolded, the people will know that Soludo is a solution to Ndi Anambra. Before he was elected, we knew his capacity, I am happy as a BOT member of APGA, that he is riding on the platform of our great party.

“APGA has done a lot in Anambra State, starting from Peter Obi, Willie Obiano, and now it comes to Soludo. As a BOT member, I am encouraging all members of APGA to seriously back up Governor Soludo for second tenure.

“I don’t want a situation whereby too much money is spent on campaigns for his reelection, because those monies can be used to change the face of Anambra State. I am calling on all the Commissioners to join the governor to actually transform Anambra State.

“I want him to come up with a stitch in time. Let stitch in time come as a resolution, zero potholes, maintain the existing roads. Those things matter a lot. People should oblige the governor and follow his instructions.

“The instructions he has given on no display of caskets and evacuation of mortuaries of any corpse that has been there more than two months. That is what we call governance, and that is the type of policy that can change the narrative in Anambra State.

“Cleanliness and the end of indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the roads will help construction of roads. When you don’t dump refuse on the roads, they last for us. Ndi Anambra should help the governor, who has vowed to transform Anambra, for that to be accomplished, it is a collective responsibility.”
