10 NSCDC Officers Win Outstanding Performance Award in Anambra

Anambra State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has honoured ten personnel of the Corpsa for exemplary conduct and outstanding performance for the month of February 2024.

Presenting cash-backed awards to the awardees on Friday, State Commandant, Maku Olatunde said he instituted “Monthly Best Performing Personnel Award” to reward diligence and appreciate hard work in keeping with his desire to bring out the best from officers and men.

“This award is in recognition of your impact in the discharge of your duties as it relates to the Corps mandate in the protection of Critical National and State Assets.Your tireless efforts in making sure our State is safe has earned you this award.

” I am happy that this award has energized the Command’s workforce as can be attested from command’s performance since my assumption of office” he said.

The NSCDC boss called on beneficiaries to see the recognition as a call to do more for the overall security and safety of citizens.

“This recognition will go a long way in inspiring officers and men to achieve their full potential in discharging their primary duties “

“To be recognized is a great achievement that everyone should be proud of” he concluded.

The officers who benefitted from the awards included Francis Nnadi, Deputy Commandant in charge of Private Guards Companies Department (PGC), Deputy Commandant;Kizitto Emaikwu, Deputy Commandant ;George Ike and Assistant Commandant; Ogunjiofor Alexander,

Others were Assistant Commandant; Ewogu Chinedu, Chief Superintendent of Corps; Chinyere Anekwe, Superintendent of Corps; Ikenna Nwokedi, Deputy Superintendent of Corps; Attah Emmanuel, Deputy Superintendent of Corps; Florence Okoye and Assistant Superintendent of Corps; Nwaokoro Prince.

Responding on behalf of the awardees, the overall best performing officer for the month of February, Deputy Commandant, Francis Nnadi appreciated the State Commandant for recognizing their little contributions to the protection of lives and property.

He pledged their commitment not to rest on their oars in combating crimes and maintaining peace in the State.
