A second year student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State has allegedly splashed hot water on her male colleague, identified as Mark.
The suspect, simply identified as Chioma, was said to have also stabbed the victim.
According to Valentine Mbadugha, on his Facebook page, the incident occurred on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge, Ifite-Awka.
He said the brawl between the duo reportedly emanated from hotel sanitation where both of them lodged.
The victim, said to be the president of the hostel, was said to had instructed the suspect to join others to clean the hostel before he got the sudden attack.
“Chioma poured the hot water on Mark because he reminded her of her duty to join others in ensuring that the hostel was kept clean,” Mbanugha said.
Though details of the attack was still sketchy as at the time of filing the report, but the victim was said had been taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga was yet to confirm the report at the time of filing this report.
