Obiano Pays Tribute to Late Ace Photojournalist- Mike Obiajulu Meze

Immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has expressed saddened over the passing of Mike Obiajulu Meze, affectionately known as MOM.

A statement released by Tony Nezianya, Publicist to Chief Obiano says Mike Meze’s untimely departure on December 15, 2023, has left a void in the hearts of many.

Obiano said Mike would be remembered as someone who truly had a gift for storytelling and capturing the essence of events in the southeast through his weekly, MOM’s, column.

According to him, Mike’s ability to express the spirit of the region through both photographs and words was unparalleled.

“He played an integral role in helping others to understand and appreciate the beauty and culture of the Southeast

“Furthermore, Mike’s contributions extended beyond his column. His company, Brand Aristotle, served as a brand consultant to the immediate past Anambra state government under Governor Willie Obiano, showcasing his expertise and dedication to promoting the region.

“His work not only left a lasting impact on the people he worked with but also on the community as a whole.

“Mike’s passing is a great loss, not only to his family but also to his friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who were fortunate enough to have known him.

“His warmth, kindness, and passion for his work will be greatly missed.

“During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

“May they find strength, solace, and comfort in their cherished memories of Mike. His legacy will continue to inspire and his impact will be felt for years to come.
