Orumba South LG Boss Flags off Palliative Work on Roads

In a groundbreaking initiative to cushion the effects of erosion and bad road network in Orumba South communities the visionary Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu yesterday flagged off ” Operation Access Orumba South Local Roads, A Palliative work by Nevclition Nig Ltd at Nawfija Community in Orumba South local government area, Anambra State.
This proactive leadership style and initiative not only exemplifies Hon. Prince Uchendu’s personal commitment and resolve to address many of the fundamental challenges plaguing Orumba South communities but also echoes the positive strides achieved under Governor Soludo’s leadership, which is transforming Orumba South into a greater Community of progress and development as the project takes shape in the coming weeks.
Prince Neville Uchendu is already setting his sights on other similar venture in other neighbouring communities, an effort that underscores the Chairman’s determination to uplift every community within Orumba South Council Area.
Speaking at the flag off event of the pilot program at Nawfija, Prince Uchendu emphasized the necessity of such road projects in the community, thus showcasing his passion to work to improve the quality of life of his people by providing a lasting solution to the pressing issue of good local road network in the community. He expressed his readiness to work to surmount further challenge that could be encountered on the course of the project and other relevant projects within the council area.
He commended the giant strides of Gov. Soludo on road construction especially in Orumba South, saying that such was the motivating factor that prompted him to initiate the palliative program.
Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma represented by Engr. Obi Okafor and the MD Nevclition Nig Ltd, Chief Bishop Egwim congratulated the Nwafija community while commending the TC Chairman for his decision to not only personally fund the project but for also collaborating with relevant key players to ensure that Orumba South communities have accessible roads and benefits from other important intervention sector of the state government.
They urged other Transition Committee Chairman to emulate the good leadership style of the Orumba South Mayor while urging residents to continue to support the Chairman and the Governor Soludo’s administration to succeed.
“If the TC Chairman can personally and privately facilitate such a huge project, there is no doubt that given a higher platform to serve, Prince Uchendu can contract bigger names in the construction industry like Julius Berger to execute bigger projects,” they said.
Contributing, Member representing Orumba South constituency in Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon. Emma Nwafor represented by Hon. Ballack Offor and the Chairman of all the President Generals in Orumba South local government area, Hon. Sam Kennedy Oguagbaka both extended their sincere appreciation to Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR for entrusting such impactful responsibilities of the Transition Chairman of Orumba South Council Area to their illustrious son, Prince Neville Uchend.
They affirmed their conviction that the Orumba South Mayor is not a disappointment to Governor Soludo just the same way Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo is not a disappointment to the APGA led administration and Anambra State Government as a whole.
Earlier, traditional ruler of Nawfija Community, Igwe Clifford Okeke (Ezeudo Na Nwafija) expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Community. He commended Governor Soludo for the ongoing road construction projects in the entire Orumba South Local Government Area, saying that Governor Soludo indeed is a wonder working Governor.
He applauded the Chairman’s proactive steps in enhancing the living standard of his people and pledged unwavering support from OAU and the entire Nwafija community for Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s led administration, recognizing the positive transformations facilitated by the Orumba South TC Chairman
He added that the entire Orumba South local government can never thank Governor Soludo and Prince Uchendu for their undeterred passion and commitment to the betterment of lives of the people in the area.
He urge residents to ensure the continuity of APGA and present administration in upcoming governorship polls to continue to enjoy the true benefits of democracy and good leadership.
