Supreme Court Reserves Judgement On Nnamdi Kanu’s Release Until December 15

The Supreme Court has reserved judgment on the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu until December 15,2023.

The IPOB leader is praying the apex court of Nigeria to uphold the ruling of the Appeal Court discharging and acquitting him of all terror-related charges.

Kanu through his lead counsel, Kanu Godwin Agabi (SAN) told the court that his client is innocent of the allegations against him, urging the court to free him.

The prosecuting counsel however urged the court to set aside the court of appeal judgement and allow Nnamdi Kanu to stand trial for the previous charges held at the Federal high court against him.The judgement was reserved till the 15th of December.
