Ex-Aviation Minister, Chidoka’s mum dies at 75

Deaconess Victoria Nneka Chidoka, mother of former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka is dead.

Chidoka, in a message he issued on behalf of Ogbueshi Chidoka and the family, said the mother died on Monday, April 3, 2023 at her residence at the age of 75.

He said funeral arrangements would be announced shortly by the family. 

The message reads, “With pain in our hearts and unconditional faith in the Love of God, we announce the passing of our mother, wife, sister, and grandmother Deaconess Victoria Nneka Chidoka at the age of 75 on Monday, April 3 at her residence.

“Mama Osi, as she is fondly called, passed peacefully surrounded by family and our loving thoughts as she came to the end of her courageous battle with health issues. 

“At this time, we pray for God’s love, mercy, and grace upon her and those left behind to mourn her. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly by the family.”

Meanwhile, Media Aide to Chidoka, Comrade Ikechukwu Okafor, described the death as shocking, praying God to grant his boss and entire family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“The news of Mama’s demise came to me as a rude shock this morning. I am deeply saddened.

“I pray that God will grant my boss and his entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Amen,” he said.
