Celebration Galore as FRSC Anambra Command’s PRO Weds Heartthrob

It was moment of joy for officers of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra State Command, family members, friends and well-wishers when Margaret Onabe, Public Relations Officer of exchanged marital vows with her heartthrob, Maurice Chime.

Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, Uwani, Enugu, venue for the holy mass was filled with dignatories who came to celebrate with the couple and family.

In a homily, Rev. Fr. Peter Achala enjoined the couple to embrace prayer as they appreciate the individual uniqueness that brought them together.

He described marriage as a unique journey of life, urging the congregation to continue to pray for the couple to ensure the union stood the test of time.

Father of the bride, Major General Dele Ogunkale, during an interview, was full of thanks to God that his daughter has finally found a home of her own and man of her dreams, who he described as exceptionally humble.

On her part, the bride’s mother, Mrs Bridget Nku identified patience and tolerance as critical for the survival of any relationship, expressing confidence of a lasting marital bliss in view of the foundation she laid for her daughter.

“I raised my daughter to understand the value of patience and humility, a lesson that has taken her far all through life,” she said.

The bride, now Mrs Margaret Chime, who described her husband as God’s special gift, said they would depend solely on God in raising a perfect home that would reflect the good foundations laid by their parents.

The husband, Mr Maurice Chime noted that Margaret possesses excellent character to be called a wife, and thanked God who brought the bride his way.
