The Anambra Civil Society Network (ACSONET) a foremost Citizens and Non State Actors stakeholders group has eulogized Governor Chukwuma Soludo on the successful recruitment and handing over of employment letters to about five 5,000 teachers newly employed by his administration.

Leader of the group, Prince Chris Azor made the remarks while responding to newsmen during the event that held at the prestigious International Convention Centre in Awka.

Comrade Azor who doubles as Coordinator, National Coalition on Improved Service Delivery (NACOISED), expressed delight that the Governor lived up to the promise made in his People’s manifesto, to position Anambra as a centre of excellence for human capital development.

He said, “The process of engagement was exceptionally transparent, with highest level of integrity. And it’s mind-blowing that this feat was achieved amidst dwindling resources and existential challenges of natural disasters.

“The newly recruited teachers must justify their appointment by being dedicated to duty, while shunning any form of truancy and corrupt practices. To whom much is given, much is expected.

“He subsequently, pledged the partnership of Civil Society in monitoring the sector to ensure enhanced productivity and general service delivery.”
