Ikeazor Pledges to Deploy Environment Ministry Experiences to Run Niger Delta Affairs Ministry

The Minister of the State, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Sharon Ikeazor has pledged to bring experiences garnered in the course of her service to the nation from various establishments, especially the environment ministry to bear on her new assignment in the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
The Minister of State, who was redeployed from the Ministry of Environment, made the pledge while being received in the Ministry in Abuja on Wednesday
She noted that her coming to Niger Delta is like homecoming, since environmental degradation, community development; are problems in the Niger Delta region, and her experience in the Ministry of Environment, will assist a lot the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs
Barrister Ikeazor, expressed gratitude to the President for granting her the opportunity to head the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, stating that the job was most fulfilling as she was able to impact lives of senior citizens.
She further pledged her unflinching support to actualizing the mandate and vision of the Ministry for the good of Nigerians and the Niger Deltans within the short period in office.
The Permanent Secretary, of the Ministry, Engr. Olufunso Adebiyi, in his welcome address, assured her of the commitment of staff towards their duties and fulfilment of the ministry’s mandate, promising that they would give her all humanly support to make sure she succeeds
He further assured her of their loyalty and high sense of commitment to duty while hoping that the Ministry would make a remarkable change in the region within the short period in the office.
