Soludo’s Aide Bags Democracy Ambassador, Good Governance Award

Special Adviser to the Anambra State Governor on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu has bagged ambassador of democracy and good governance award.

The award was presented to him by Freenews Magazine in his office at Government House Awka.

The chairman, Freenews Editorial Board, Mr Obinna Mbonu in his speech said that the Special Adviser to Gov Soludo on Political Matters was considered for the award after studying his political behavior since 2010 and until recent times.

Mbonu noted that the findings of the magazine revealed that Dr Obiogbolu is more interested in the development of humanity, prosperity of Anambra State and Ndi-Anambra.

“We discovered that you practice political relativism, political tolerance and entertain divergent political opinions. You have the credit of relating with all politicians irrespective of their political persuasions on basis of human character.

“We also discovered that you fear God, love God and love humanity, you are humble, compassionate and accommodating. You have character trait of respect, responsibility, responsiveness, commitment, determination and you are a good team player.” Mbonu asserted.

In his speech, Dr Obiogbolu thanked Freenews Magazine for counting him worthy of an award noting that he was indeed humbled by the development.

The Special Adviser to Gov Soludo on Political Matters said that the award would serve as motivation for him to continue to do more for the betterment of humanity.

“My belief is that political opponents are not enemies but people in different vehicles trying to get to a destination of serving their people.

“I am happy about the emergence of Prof Charles Soludo as the Anambra State Governor, I have always been ready to bank on him because of his unique ability to engage, the transparency he brought to public service and the passion with which he wants to positively transform the state is heartwarming.” Dr Obiogbolu said.

He however urged Ndi-Anambra and residents alike to continue to cooperate with the government by being law-abiding, paying their taxes and in ordinary daily living like proper disposal of refuse and obeying traffic rules.

Dr Obiogbolu said emphatically that with the support and cooperation of all and sundry, Anambra State will continue to be the shinning Light of the Nation.
