INVESTMENT: Business Moguls- Cubana, E-Money & Co Ready to Partner Anambra Govt

The recent clarion call by governor (Prof.) Charles Chukwuma Soludo to well-meaning Anambra citizens to consider investing in the state a priority project received a boost on Thursday as Mr Obinna Iyiegbu of the Obi Cubana Group, Mr Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money), Mr Kingsley Okonkwo (K-Cee) and Mr Kennedy Okonkwo visited the state government house to declare their readiness to partner with the government on its investment drive.
Speaking during the brief meeting with Governor Soludo, the Anambra State born captains of industry and business tycoons stated that their visit was to find out how to partner with his administration on some of the key business and industrial development areas that will further open up Anambra State as the industrial hub of the South East.
Cubana and co applauded the efforts of the Soludo-led administration on the gains recorded so far on the fight against the menace of insecurity in the state which according to them, is an impediment to the progress and overall development of the state.
The duo of Mr. Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money) and Kennedy Okonkwo made a donation of N100 Million on behalf of their Company, to the Anambra State Security Trust Fund as their own contribution on the fight against insecurity in the state in response to the state government’s call for support on well meaning Ndi Anambra in the fight against insecurity in the state.
Governor Soludo who was elated at their visit, thanked them for their support, and promised not to renegade from his vision and agenda of moving Anambra forward, stressing that the state government is open to partnerships that will further the course of development of the state in any sector.
