The Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for Ihiala federal constituency in the 2023 House of Representatives election, Barr Johnmary Akachukwu Maduakolam says he is in a hurry to clean up Ihiala and offer responsible and responsive representation at the national assembly.

Maduakolam was playing host to stakeholders from the constituency in his Azia residence on Saturday when he made the pledge.

According to him, Ihiala federal constituency has been lagging behind in finesse and quality representation hence his decision to offer his service.

The UK trained lawyer argued that it was criminal to be doing things same way times over and keep dreaming of different results.

“I welcome everyone of you to my home, I know many of you have been here before but your purpose of visiting today I must say is a big boost and encouragement to me and my team.

“We at the CLEAN Ihiala Movement are in a hurry to aggregate all the individual efforts to put our constituency on the world map for good by promoting public-private partnerships for our collective growth and development”, he said.

The YPP candidate during the stakesholders’ meeting urged Ndi-Ihiala and residents alike to ensure that they get their PVCs noting that the 2023 general elections would witness a PVCs based revolution.

“Your presence here today is an indication that you are all tired of the abysmal performance of the persons who have been our eyes, ears and voice in the National Assembly, the 2023 election presents a unique opportunity to redress the situation by sending a known and trusted person like me to Abuja to be our voice.

“I dare say with all sense of humility that we have impacted the youths, women and men with the little resources God has given us, I assure you that things can only get better for Ndi-Ihiala when we get to the lower chamber of the National Assembly where we are going to demonstrate the fact that things can be done better through quality representation.” Barr Maduakolam asserted.

A spokesperson for the stakeholders, Ogbuefi James Onyebuchi appreciated the modest contribution of the YPP House of Reps candidate to the empowerment of youths and students in Ihiala.

He said that since more work will always be the reward for hardwork, the stakesholders have made up their minds to send the Anambra based lawyer to Abuja to represent the good people of Ihiala at the green chamber of the National Assembly.
