Assistant  Chaplain of St Luke the Evangelist Chaplaincy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Rev Fr Christian Echezonachukwu Mbaukwu has charged the staff of Anambra   Newspaper and Printing Corporation ( ANPC) to eschew disputes inimical to the working progress of the organisation and embrace peace.

He gave  the charge during a thanksgiving Mass celebrated for the organisation for a robust productive year and for the gift of life for the staff, held at the auditorium of the organisation on Tuesday.

The clergy while delivering his homily, thanked the members of staff who accompanied the managing director of the organisation, Chuka Nnabuife to his ordination held last year at St John the Cross Catholic Church, Uruagu, Nnewi and later, his first Holy Mass at his community in Ubuluisuizor.

Reflecting on the gospel reading which was taken from the gospel of St John 15:20 – 16:4, he  urged the staff to look at the picture in life and avoid distractions from their earnings. He then urged them not to be afraid as they give in their best to the organisation and should look inwards and count their blessings.

He further enjoined the staff to be grateful to God for other gifts of life other than money that God has blessed them  like good health in their families, connections, among others, saying that when one counts one’s blessings,  these are ways to be fulfilled in life.

He noted that when the organisation is going through stages of problems,  they should look out for the root causes of the problem.

He went on to pray for the progress of the organisation while urging the Soludo administration to key into the ideas of the past government in taking the establishment to its rightful place as the state owned print media.

The clergy further praised the establishment as the oldest thriving state owned newspaper which has been in existing since its inception some 30 years ago and went ahead to extol the expertise of the MD in injecting modernity to the organisation.

The MD went on to express his gratitude to the priest for his willingness to come and celebrate Mass for the organisation and further called for more prayers for the organisation
