(PHOTOS) Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial: Awka-Onitsha Expressway deserted as citizens stay at home

The ever-busy Awka-Onitsha Expressway was a shadow of itself as motorists shun travel to the observe another Sit-at-Home order imposed across South East by the Auto-piloters faction of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) to protest the continuing trial of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The leader of the Autopiloters faction of IPOB, Simon Ekpa, who declared a sit-at-home protest for Friday, April 7,2022 also warned that violation of the order would have adverse consequences.

Over 20 Fulani cows and several goats were reportedly shot dead at Nkwo Igboukwu market, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State. The council secretariat was also torched by unknown gunmen in the renewed wave of violent attack in the state.
