Anambra Guber: Jubilation in Soludo Camp as Ubah Political Family Decamp to APGA

Political structure of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on Tuesday got a boost following the decamping of the political family of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah into the party ahead the November 8 Anambra State governorship election.

The late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah extraction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were officially received into the Soludo team in an elaborate ceremony held at International Conference Center (ICC) Awka.

The political family led by Mr Kanem Chuks, Hon Tempest Udeze, Chief Emma Ezike and others noted that late Ubah had a robust programme for State.

Seven support groups of Sen Ubah, including Afaigboefuna, Ifeanyi Ubah Women, Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement Ifeanyi Ubah Disciples, amongst others officially collapsed their structure into Soludo Solution political family.

According to Tempest Udeze, the group was persuaded that Governor Chukwuma Soludo was running most of the programs the late senator would have embarked upon.

“After seeing what Gov Soludo has done in the state in just three years, they are fully persuaded that Gov Soludo running most of the programs the late senator would have embarked upon.

“We have gone on inspection of Mr Governor’s projects, we are shocked to see the quality works he has done.

“Having seen such unprecedented landmark projects, we make bold to declare that we are ready to follow him and work for him in the November 8 Anambra State governorship election,” Udeze said.

Earlier, the Governor, while welcoming Sen Ubah political family into APGA, expressed his preparedness to do more for the State, noting that he and the late senator had always been friends before his untimely death.

The latest development, according to political analysts was big blow to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu’s governorship ambition.
