15 Teams to Compete in Southeast Young Talent Scouting Football Tournament

About 15 grassroots football clubs across the south East Zone have registered to take part in the Third Edition of Easter Soccer Tournament billed to take place in Isuochi, Umunneochi local government area of Abia State.

The Easter soccer tournament is a yearly program designed for scouting of young talented players.

The Sports tournament is part of the numerous programs being projected to enable the youths have the necessary platform to announce themselves.

According to the he organizer of the Competition, Coach Onyema Eze so many young players have been discovered through the program and they want to make sure that the 3rd edition is well organized more than the previous ones.

According to Eze, “we have secured partnership with various football agents and club presidents such as high profile person like Right2win football club president Engr kelechi Nnorom who has all the necessary contact to move players to Europe through his numerous contact with foreign clubs.”

Eze said they are also in partnership with the president of JB Central football club Abuja ,one of the biggest football managers in Nigeria who discovered players like John Mikel Obi , Ahmed Musa and many other great players. UK based Fifa agent and sports lawyer Barister precious Jonny ogbah.

He noted that the Easter Soccer Tournament will be a great opportunity for clubs and football academies to expose their best talents.

The Grassroots Super Coach hinted that some high profile football managers which include Abia warriors sporting director and former Super Eagles defender Emeka ifeajiagwa, Pastor emeka inyama , Former Abia Warriors Chairman and president Carl college and football academy umuahia , Engr kelechi Nnorom who is the President Right2win football club Umuahia among others will grace the scouting tournament. Also expected during the Easter Tournament is Abubakar Sadiq Abdahi, FIFA accredited
Football agent.

The four days scouting tournament is expected to commence from April 18th to 21st April 2025 at Peace Secondary School school Field and Chrisnak stadium Amuda Isuochi.

The teams that have registered so far for the big encounter include BOHOLD FC UMUNNEOCHI , NNEATO WARRIORS FC , ROYAL ACHIEVERS FC UTURU , CITY STARS FC ABA , DOMINION CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY AWKA, MONDAY FC AMUDA, STARMAX FC OKIGWE , and YOUNG STARS FC ISUOCHI.

Other clubs include VICTORY FC UTURU, ACQUIRE FC DELTA, ABSU YOUNG LADS FA UTURU , SHALOM FC UMUAHIA, ASPIRE INT’L FC/ACADEMY ABA , PETSON FC ABA and YOUNG LIONS FC UMUAHIA.
