Anambra Police Command Intensify Campaign to End Illegal Weekly Sit-At-Home

Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr. Ikioye Orutugu has urged Anambra residents to stop obeying Monday ‘Sit-At-Home’ order imposed by Biafra agitators and go about their lawful businesses without fear.

The Anambra Police Boss gave the advice while leading police operatives on an advocacy tour to educate Anambra residents on the negative impacts of the illegal order of sit-at-home.

According to him, Anambra state mainly survives on buying and selling, stressing the need for a return to normalcy in the state.

He said, “The Command has further assured that the Police and other security agencies have taken over the streets, especially on Mondays, to sustain safety in the State.

“Ndi Anambra are therefore urged to go about their various businesses without fear of molestation.

“Anybody that says you should sit at home on Monday, your reply to the person should be: “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo”
