Peter Obi Hails Orogbu for Delivery of Democracy Dividends to Constituents

Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party and Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has commended lawmaker representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu for her exceptional leadership and passion in delivering dividend of democracy to her people.

Obi gave the commendation during the commissioning of three monumental projects in the Awka North and South Federal Constituency, including construction of an access road to the Holy Family Youth Village in Amansea, as well as the rehabilitation of classrooms for Ezi-Awka Community Secondary School and Agulu Awka Primary School.

He praised her commitment to education and infrastructure development which he described as truly exceptional.

He also noted that the people of Awka North and South made an excellent choice in electing Prof. Orogbu, who he said was delivering tangible benefits and true democratic representation.

He said, “Prof. Orogbu is doing exceptionally well in driving progress in our communities. Her commitment to education and infrastructure development is truly exceptional.

“The people of Awka North and South made an excellent choice in electing Prof. Orogbu, who is delivering tangible benefits and true democratic representation.”

The community members celebrated the new structures, a testament to their representatives’ commitment to their future and the constituency’s progress.

Traditional rulers, President Generals, community women leaders, supporters, and constituents lauded Prof. Orogbu for her tireless efforts in driving educational and infrastructure development.

Rev. Fr. Dominic Obielosi, Rector of the Holy Family Youth Village, Amansea, and Amarachi Ngozika, Students Community President, expressed heartfelt appreciation.

“This commissioning is just one of many projects, solidifying Prof. Orogbu’s legacy as a beacon of effective representation and progressive leadership,” he said.
