Anambra Govt Pledges to Complete 21 Smart School Projects before September 2025

Anambra State government is fully committed to the timely completion of 21 smart schools in communities currently without primary schools, Commissioner of Education, Prof. Chuma-Udeh has said.

Speaking during a meeting with President Generals (PGs) of the affected communities, the Commissioner said the schools are set to be operational for the 2025/2026 academic session.

She assured the project would move forward without delays, in line with Governor Soludo’s vision to provide quality education to all, urging the PGs to ensure their communities participated in the first phase of the project, as it is crucial for the development of the area.

Underscoring the importance of education, the Commissioner stressed that the project aligns with the government’s free education policy and will provide accessible, high-quality education at no cost.

She also encouraged the PGs to submit the necessary documents, including land survey plans and approval letters, to begin the project immediately.

In their respective remarks, the PGs described the project as great opportunity, expressed their readiness to collaborate with the government.

They particularly highlighted how valuable it is to their communities, which have longed for a government primary school.
