Chairman of Solution Football Club, Chukwuma Ezeamama says the Awka, Anambra State based club has set for itself the target of gaining promotion to Nigeria’s elite football championship, the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
He, however stressed that the Club’s management, technical staff and players would be banking on massive support from the media and the private sector in Anambra State and beyound to progress from the NNL to NPFL.
Ezeamama made the call during a meeting between the management of Solution FC and the leadership of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Anambra State chapter in Awka on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
According to him, the dream of Anambra people to own a football club had been made a reality by Governor Chukwuma Soludo after over 30 years adding that every hand should be on deck to keep Solution FC alive.
“The essence of a state investing in sports and owning a football club in particular is not to make profit but to project the image of the state, that is why I want to thank Gov. Soludo for giving Anambra this football Club.
“We are currently in the Nigeria National League, Anambra is overdue to be the Nigeria Premier Football League, it may look difficult but it is possible that is why we are asking for all the help we can get.
“Promotion will surely happen, I want to thank SWAN for the interest they have shown in what we are doing and I want to assure you that we are ready to partner with you.
Ezeamama also urged Anambra people to see Solution FC as a business they want to invest in or use to promote their businesses. He adds that Solution Football Club had come to stay and called on teeming soccer loving people of the state to come out and cheer their team both at home, Awka Township Stadium and way games.

He said the possible formation of a State club was the earliest conversation Soludo had with the media and commended him for making it a reality within his first year in office.
Anaso pledged the commitment of the sports press in Anambra to partner Solution FC by attracting fans and supporters to their matches in Anambra and beyond and to make people to become more aware of the club’s activities.
“As the media, we want to assure you that we will tell your stories, entertain enthusiasts, provide criticisms and keep you on your toes to ensure the people of Anambra get the best value out of this huge investment,” he said.
Solution FC Chairman, Ezeamama was accompanied by Austin Amakom, Team Manager and Chijioke Onyedika, Secretary of the club.
