Anambra Govt Seals ‘Onye-eze Jesus” Worship Center Over Money-Making Ritual

Anambra State Government has sealed the controversial ministry operated by Pastor Onyebuchi Okocha in Amafor village, Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area over alleged involvement in the outlawed money-making ritual (Oke Ite).

The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, Mr Ken Emeakai who disclosed this when he led men of Operation Udo Ga-Achi to the worship center explained that the religious premises used by the Cleric was shut down following petitions received from members of the public.

According to him, besides numerous petitions on the activities of Pastor Okocha, popularly known as Onye eze Jesus, the state government was forced to arrest him after watching a video online where the Cleric boasted that he does Oke ite and all manner of things for people.

Mr Emeakai further said that government will subject liquid containers found in the ministry to foreinsic test to verify the veracity of some of his claims. He adds that the state government was not against any religion but would not encourage those that promote get rich quick syndrome to continue to thrive in the state.

He also assured that government would bring forensic experts to take samples from River Bethsaida used by the Pastor who is also known as Aka na asa uchu to bath people naked to determine the level of hazard it could be causing to human beings.
