Solution FC of Awka on Saturday at Awka City Stadium defeated Godswill Akpabio FC 1-0 to sustain their impressive home run in the current NNL season.
Valentine Ugwu’s goal in the 55th minute from a spot kick rebound made the difference to secure the maximum points for the home team.
The Akpabio boys put up an excellent fight to return to party but could not break the resistance of Solution Boys who held on till full time.

Speaking after the game, Romanus Chinonso, an attacking midfielder said the outcome of the march was good for the team .
Chinonso who was voted Man of the Match said they had resolved to approach every game with the mindset that their fate in the league depended on it.
“We are happy, we thank God, though not an easy one but we made a resolution that we will be putting everything in every match to get resut,” he said.

On his part,Nigeria’s ex-international Patrick Udoh, Coach of Godswill Akpabio FC said the encounter was a quality game but the loss of his team which is just three months old is painful. .
Udoh said NNL was a critical League in Nigeria and commended the league managers for their efforts in sustain the quality of the league.
