Anambra 2025 Guber: Group Intensifies Mobilization for Soludo’s Re-election

A group, Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS) has inaugurated ten man local government committee for each of the twenty one LGAs in the state ahead of November 8 governorship election in Anambra state.

Chairman of the occasion, Chief Ejiamatu Damian Enekwechi commended the leadership of APS for their passion and determination towards the reelection of Gov Charles Soludo.

He revealed that APS has been doing programs in the media to showcase the landmark achievements of the incumbent governor who he noted has outperformed all his predecessors in less than three years.

He pointed out that the group is made up of cream of society who are not into support group for the incumbent governor for personal selfish interests.

The chairman said that his group is actually different from other support groups because they have enough financial capacity to fund their programs and campaigns for the reelection of Gov Soludo.

He revealed that as a way to institute a comprehensive and detailed activities for the task at hand, APS will soon inaugurate twenty officials for each of the three hundred and twenty six wards in the state.

Enekwechi said that with that kind of structure of grassroot support base for the incumbent governor, Gov Soludo’s reelection is a done deal.

Convener of APS, Arch. Okey Ezeobi (Nwachinemelu) appreciated those who came from far places to attend the program, noting that their presence is a great sacrifice.

He noted that their sacrifice is for the betterment of Anambra State which according to him is in line with Gov Soludo’s definition of who a politician is.

He said, “Gov Soludo has always say that politician is a person who is interested in the common good of the people. He is doing everything for the common good, see what is happening in all the sectors of the state, Gov Soludo has been rolling out policies, programs and projects for the common good of Ndi-Anambra.

“A politician who is in politics and not based on the Gov Soludo’s idea of politics should resign from politics and look for another venture.

“Anambra Patriots for Soludo is an army of people who are the foot soldiers of the incumbent governor, who are also expected to drive home the policies and programs at the grassroot,” Ezeobi added.

While making allusion to Gov Soludo’s philosophies, Ezeobi said, “We may not be able to take all the people out of poverty but we can give the children of the poor opportunity to come out of poverty.”

He revealed how he got his breakthrough in life because of the opportunity of free education in Lagos State, occasioned by Alhaji Lateef Jakande who was the governor then.

“I’m hundred percent sure that there are many Anambra children who will have their lives transformed due to free education policy of the administration of the day, the annual palm , coconut and other seedlings distribution are meant to take people out of poverty, Gov Soludo is always dreaming of zero poverty for Ndi-Anambra.

“He has put in place free education, free anti natal and delivery, 1 youth 2 skills, renovating 326 PHC in Anambra, the equipments are already. Online consultations are also being put in place for free. The governor is passionate about the wellbeing of Ndi-Anambra and residents alike,” he asserted.

Ezeobi noted that APS is open to all ideas that would be in support of the good works Gov Soludo is doing.

Igwe Benneth Emeka (Oke Ebo Umuneri) also gave royal blessing to the occasion.
