3 Siblings, Aged 9,7&5 Found Dead inside Freezer in Anambra Community

Nnewichi community in Nnewi, Anambra State have been thrown into mourning following brutal murder of three siblings whose bodies were found stored in a deep freezer in their residence.

The victims, Ejezie Chikaima Daviana (9), Ejezie Chimziterem Dominica (7), and Edozie Chimdilim David (5), were reportedly killed by assailants while their mother, Chikazor Ejezie was away for an examination.

AnambraDaily gathered that the mother, on arrival, surprisingly found the door to the apartment wide open which was unusual.

“After thorough search by the mother and other neighbors, they later opened the deep freezer and suddenly found the lifeless bodies of the children,” the source said.

The father of the kids, who was immediately contacted by the wife, had described the incident as devastating.

He said he suspected the deceased children were eating when the attackers struck, as evidenced by plates of food abandoned in the apartment.

AnambraDaily further learnt that the bodies had been deposited in a morgue, while the incident has been reported to the Central Police Station in the area.

Confirming the incident, Police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, saying the Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Itam, has ordered a thorough investigation.

“The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department,” he added.
