Mother of Six Children Set Ablaze By Husband over Alleged Infidelity Dies in Anambra

Mrs. Chioma Nwana, a mother of six children allegedly set on fire by her husband on Wednesday morning over alleged infidelity has died in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The deceased was said to have returned from Jos, Plateau state with her children last year before the incident happened.
A viral video sighted by AnambraDaily showed the embattled woman was battling for survival with the fuel before she was set ablaze by her husband.
“Her name is Chioma Nwana. They left Jos to village last year. Ije di (journey of marriage). See how her husband pour fuel on her this morning and put her fire.
“Mother of 6 boys to and only child called husband. God punish devil,” a comment attached to the video read.
Confirming the incident, Police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga said the mastermind has been arrested, while investigation has commenced.
“We are aware of the matter, but it is sad to announce to you that the woman just died this morning while receiving medical attention.
“Her husband has also been arrested and investigation has commenced,” he said.
