Awka PG Pledges to Mobilize Voters for Soludo’s Second Term Bid

Newly elected President General of Umuokpu village in Awka South Local Government Area, Barr. Chukwudi Edwin Okeke, has pledged his community full support for Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s re-election.

He made this commitment during a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/CEO of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr. Ossy Onuko, on January 15, 2025, at his office in Awka.

Barr. Okeke who was accompanied by his executive members expressed appreciation for Governor Soludo’s laudable infrastructural achievements in the state capital while assuring the ACTDA boss that the people of Umuokpu were prepared to deliver 90% of their votes for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the upcoming election.

“We are here to reiterate our commitment to the re-election of Governor Soludo, whose leadership has brought progress to Anambra State. The people of Umuokpu are solidly behind him and ready to mobilize massive support,” Barr. Okeke said.

In response, the Managing Director of ACTDA, Mr. Ossy Onuko, thanked the delegation for their pledge and acknowledged the unwavering loyalty of Umuokpu village. He assured them of government continued partnership and support, noting that their dedication to the APGA cause would not go unnoticed.

The visit underscored the strong grassroots backing for Governor Soludo second term bid and highlighted the community’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of his administration reforms.
