EYAF 2024 Summit ‘Il Be Interactive, Impactful – Dr. Anekwe

The 2024 edition of Elite Youths of Anam Foundation, EYAF Summit will be an interactive, intellectual engagement that will be Impactful in the lives of Anam youths.

EYAF President, Dr. Christopher Ejike Anekwe dropped the hint while fielding questions with newsmen ahead of the summit slated to take place on Saturday, 7th December at Ajandu Hall, Umueze Anam.

According to Anekwe, the theme of this year’s flagship event, ‘Empowering Anam Youths Through Education and Skills Development’ was carefully chosen because it was key for human capital development and socio-economic advancement of Ndi Anam, Anambra West and Anambra State.

“As we promised after our swearing in last June that EYAF is moving in a new direction, we have fine-tuned our Summit a bit to make it more interactive and Impactful”, he said.

According to him, the summit will feature a keynote lecture by Professor Olusegun Sogbesan, the founder and Director General of Onitsha Business School, OBS; followed by a panel discussion centered on the theme of the summit.

“This time around, we want to be more practical with this Summit and bring the discussion home. That’s why we are going for a panel discussion featuring selected youths from Anam.

“We are not going to limit the conversation to the keynote Speaker and panelists, we also opening up the discussion floor to participants, both inside the floor and those that would follow the event live through EYAF Facebook platform where the program will be streamed live.

The chairman of the summit planning committee and anchor of the event, Pastor Franklin Okwudili Agulu, also disclosed that EYAF had procured some educational materials for distribution to schools in Anam as part of its efforts to encourage academic excellence.

“We believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential within each and every one of us. So, we decided to support young scholars in Anam secondary schools and their teachers this year since no student was able to win the EYAF scholarship programme this year.
