Anambra Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has refuted claims that Governor Chukwuma Soludo ordered closure of schools in Nnewi for Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s burial activities .
She reiterated that the Governor never at any time ordered that schools be closed down in Anambra State for any reason as was reported in some sections of the media.
Reacting to the media report that Soludo orders school closures, Commissioner Chuma-Udeh stated that normal school activities went on in Anambra State.
“The media report with the headline: ‘Soludo Orders Schools Closure Amid Fears Of Violence At Senator Ubah’s Burial’ is untrue” Chuma-Udeh said.
