Anambra State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs Blessing Ekene Iruma has disclosed plans to constitute mobile medical sub team in orientation camp to avail camp officials opportunity to regularly check their vital parts for optimum performance.
Iruma stated this during the fourth quarter cum 2024 Batch C Stream 1 pre-orientation general meeting held at the Conference Hall, NYSC State Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka.
She said she was mindful of the busy schedules of camp officials which most times do not give them room for medical check-ups, hence the adoption of the proactive measure.
“Notwithstanding the credible personnel deployed to man the camp clinic, I will often go to the facility for on the spot assessment.
“Considering the critical nature of the camp kitchen, I will also be a regular visitor to the place particularly during the periods of the preparation and service of food for camp officials and Corps Members,” she said.
While eulogizing the staff for their unwavering support, cooperation, teamwork and determination to succeed in previous orientation periods, the NYSC boss enjoined them to surpass the level in the upcoming orientation course.
The 2024 Batch C Preorientation Workshop resolutions as well as that of the 2024 Annual Management Conference were stepped down to the NYSC staff by Messrs Emeka Ugwu, Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations and Celestine Muokwenye, Assistant Director, Planning Research and Statistics.
