NATIONALYouth Service Corps (NYSC), Anambra State Coordinator, Mrs Blessing Ekene Iruma has advised serving Corps Members to marry their ‘best-friends‘ in order to enjoy peaceful, happy family and contribute to a progressive society.
Iruma gave the advice in her remarks at the Awka South Local Government Headquarters, Amawbia, Anambra State during continuation of her tours of locations where Certificates of National Service were being distributed to deserving 2023 ‘Batch C Stream 2‘ Corps Members.
She said the NYSC family would be happy when such nuptial bliss occur.
“In addition to praying fervently for compatible marriages, you should equally devote your time, talents and energy to improve on your already acquired skills under the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme and become self reliant.
“For those who were yet to pick interest in SAED, you should rethink and choose skills and begin to create wealth,” she added.
While wishing the Corps members fruitful post service life, the NYSC boss admonished them to continue to be good ambassadors of the NYSC, institutions and families and endeavour to champion the unity of the country at all times.
