National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State for giving the scheme Certificate of Occupancy for a parcel of land for the proposed Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Centre, for the South East.

NYSC Director, South East Area Office 1, Mr Ayodele Adegoke gave the commendation
during his official visit to the new NYSC State Secretariat, situated at the Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka.

The parcel of land which stretches hecters of land, is located opposite Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government of Anambra State.

Adegoke said, “Having been armed with the certificate, it will become easier to move a step forward for the NYSC management’s approval for the construction of structures and other facilities for the SAED centre for the South East which will be of benefit to the youth.”

The Director said he was equally thrilled to see the spacious and tasteful office space that would motivate the staff to perform optimally, just as he appreciated those who directly or indirectly contributed to the smooth movement to the new office.

He enjoined the staff to continue to abide by the ethics of the civil service which include integrity, transparency, honesty, responsibility, impartiality, objectivity and confidentiality.

Underscoring the need to regard Corps Members as their own children at all times, the Director argued that when they feel loved and cared for, their output would be unparalleled.

He eulogized the State Coordinator, Mrs Blessing Ekene Iruma for her adminstrative style of teamwork and mutual respect at the workplace.

The State Coordinator had earlier described the acquisition of the new office as big relief to her administration and boost to the scheme in the state.
