President Tinubu Appoints Bianca Ojukwu Foreign Affairs Minister, Sacks Uju Kennedy

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a minister in his cabinet even as he approved the sack of Mrs. Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye as Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development.

Bianca, widow of late Biafra warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, is among the new ministers appointed by the President.

The appointment was announced on Wednesday in a statement issued by the Presidency after the Federal Executive Council meeting.

Jumoke Oduwole was appointed as the minister of industry, Trade and Investment while Bianca Ojukwu was named Minister of State, Foreign Affairs.

Five other individuals were also appointed as new ministers.
