A legal practitioner has lost his life in a fatal auto crash along Awka-Enugu expressway, Anambra State.
The crash which occurred Sunday night involved an articulated truck and the private vehicle owned by the deceased.
A kinsman to the deceased revealed that the lawyer who recently lost his mother was driving along that road when he suddenly rammed into the stationary truck and crashed into a nearby drainage.
He said, “The incident happened along the express after Access Bank. There was what looked like a broken down truck. The deceased must have thought it was moving and realizing too late that it wasn’t, hit it and his car careered into the gutter there.
“He had just put his mum in the mortuary and was making preparations for the funeral. Now he’s joined her in the mortuary.
“He was the family’s breadwinner
And the wife put to bed two months ago, he got married February this year. Rest in Peace Bar. Ututu.”
