Anambra West TC Boss Charge Corps Members to be Good Ambassadors in their Primary Assignment

ANAMBRA West Local Government Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor has charged the newly posted National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) members in the area to be good ambassadors of the country in their places of primary assignments.

Hon. Nnazor made the remarks while receiving the Batch C’ stream of the National Youth Service Corps members posted to Anambra West LGA at the council headquarters, Nzam.

The Chairman, represented by Comrade Nnamdi Nweke, the council’s Head of Department, Education and Social Development, advised the corps members to see the national youth service as an opportunity to add their own qouta to peace and national development.

He further disclosed that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has made it a policy to reward corps members who performed exceedingly very well, and that he would not hesitate to compensate any of them that did well in Anambra West.

He further assured them of his unalloyed support and assistance throughout the periods of their service in the area, explaining that ‘Anambra West is the food basket of the state, therefore they will enjoy the natural resources of the area.

Others who were present during the occasion are the newly posted HOD of Education and Social Development, Comrade Ezeanolue Amara, the Unit head of Community Development, Mr. John Ikwune, Unit head Social Welfare Mrs. Victoria Okoloneli and Unit head Information, Comrade Uzoma Ilozue.
